Notre-Dame de l'Assomption Church

A church in the flamboyant Gothic style: “the most beautiful chapel in the kingdom” said Henry IV. The three portals on the west facade, the tiara-shaped bell tower and 52m spire and the nave lit by magnificent 16th century stained glass windows are all worth a careful look. There’s also the 1542 organ and case, one of the most beautiful of the Renaissance, and not forgetting the 19 chapels, each assigned to a brotherhood.
