Take the ferryboat

Crossing the Seine can be quick and easy thanks to the majestic Tancarville, Normandy and Brotonne bridges. But you can also take a more leisurely and quaint way of going from bank to bank… by ferry.

At one time, there were seventeen ferry crossings between Rouen and Le Havre. Today, only eight are left, three of them in our area, one at Quillebeuf-sur-Seine and two atHeurteauville. Since the 19th century, these magnificent craft have provided a crossing to inhabitants, workers and tourists alike. For pedestrians, cyclists or motorists, this mini voyage of a few minutes allows you to discover the meandering river. It’s one of the features of our region of which you will never tire.
