La Godène beer

Karine and Marc Eudes produce a quality beer called “La Godène” on their farm in Bennetot.

Just so you know, “La Godène” is a very Cauchois name because it is the old word for the large milk

pitcher transported by donkeys in the Pays de Caux.

“We are first and foremost dairy producers, but faced with the dificulties in our sector, we wanted to find a supplementary occupation, and so we had the idea of going into brewing,” they explain heartily, adding, “La Godène is a mild beer – like us – that we produce here on our farm in Bennetot”.
