The Val de Seine cycle path

Except to those sailing on the river, some of the beautiful meanders of the Seine have long been hidden from view. A magnificent ride alongs one is now possible and in excellent conditions. The old towpath alongside the Seine between Caudebec-en-Caux and Petiville has been converted into a greenway for pedestrians, people with reduced mobility, cyclists, rollerbladers and skaters. This 10km-long section of the Val de Seine cycle path is ideal at any time of year for admiring the boats and the countryside in all its splendour: fields of wheat and flax, ducks
and swans, woods and meadows, even old locks. The Seine Valley will be around you, looking as it has done for centuries!
