Tancarville's nature reserves

Perched on its chalk cliff, Tancarville has more than its medieval castle and suspension bridge over the Seine to offer, there’s also its two nature reserves.

On the national nature reserve there’s a 2 and a half hour walk through the flora and fauna with views over the pastureland below. You can learn about the site’s history along the educational trail which has been set up by the Estuary Centre.

At the Vivier Valley reserve, you’ll find a remarkable variety of natural environments.It is the property of the Ministry of the Environment and managed by the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Reserve.
