Brotonia Beer

It is in La Mailleraye-sur-Seine in the newly-founded municipality of Arelaune-en-Seine that Marc Haffner produces an organic artisanal beer called Brotonia.

Brotonia is a beer brewed in small batches and in four varieties: blonde, amber, IPA and Stout. It has local malted barley aromas with subtle notes of locally grown hop flowers.

Brotonia is an genuine beer, a drink that the Romans and Carolingians used to brew and drink in the Brotonne forest.

Sold on site or at the ‘La Laiterie’ Tea Room shop at Valasse Abbey.
