Riding centre - Les écuries de Brotonne

In the heart of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Reserve are Les Ecuries de Brotonne, who offer a range of activities principally based around riding out in the open air. The horses all live together out in the pastures where they are just as calm and attentive as in the arena.

Because of this, the conditions of the courses, lessons and treks are as safe as possible because the horses and ponies don’t suffer from an impatience to get out of their stable boxes to see the rest of their family.

This means anyone can come and ride, even beginners and the very young. From 3 years old with a pony being led, 10 years old for a beginners jaunt, and larger ponies or horses for experienced riders.

As there’s no risk that the horses and ponies will get carried away with themselves, even the little jaunts aren’t necessarily ‘slow and gentle’ and are an occasion to learn and improve.
